Almost ABHOF!!

The Albera Business Hall of Fame is NEXT WEEK! We are all very excited to go! Also, some more great news is that BYOBag was one of 3 winners for an environmental grant!
Our company has been working very hard to get all our products ready for ABHOF (We had a few more extra production nights :) ). It will be a great experience for our whole company!

Tonight was the Alberta Business Hall of Fame. There were three inductees tonight; Allan Olsen, Harold Roozen and Frank Spinelli (posthumously). Congratulations to them, their stories were extremely inspiring. Also, our president, Frederique Ndatirwa gave a very heartwarming speech on her Junior Achievement story.
In preparation for ABHOF, our company members attended a networking workshop on Saturday. We took in a ton of important information on networking. This helped all our members tremendously in our preparedness for tonight. ABHOF was a great time to learn and grow. All our members enjoyed the night (and the great food and flowers!)

This week, our company, sold out! With only one week left before we close-up shop, we are very happy to have achieved such great success. This last week, all our company members stepped up to make those final sales! In celebration, we had a wonderful pizza party thanks to our VP of HR, Zina. It was very good! Our employee of the week this week was Paris (the one writing this :P )! She really helped out during this last week!
Anyways, thank you to all who supported our company and our company members these past few months, we wouldn't have been able to do all this without you!

This week was our last week at the Junior Achievement center. We had cupcakes in celebration of our VP of IT's birthday! They were very yummy :) It was a very relaxind night as we worked on the final things in our program. We also got to write on the JA wall! Next week, our company is having our Board of Directors meeting and award interviews! How exciting!!
